My comrade Lara and I sat down at Mission Control at Strathmore, we flicked on the settings and watched the air levels; as we were in charge of air supply.  We communicated to people on the other end of our typing messaging system. Alarms went of and I quickly hit ‘system check’ which resolves any issues but first you must complete a complex question about Mars. After 15 minutes of using mission control a alarm starts and it wasn’t the ‘system check’ alarm. A notice pops up saying there is a leak in Section 4. Then it asks me if I want to seel it; of course I press yes. Though the seal is broken and the leak has spread to Section 5 there is nothing we can do except evacuate everyone from the Mars base. Our communication monitors alerted the scientist and astronauts on the Mars base to evacuate. It took them a while but they did survive in the end.

We sat down and buckled our seatbelts we got a quick update and then  flashed my mind. I was going to Mars! The seats vibrated with the noise and 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! We were on our way to Mars. Though it takes 10 months so we slept most of the time we got our final briefing then we would walk across the corridors to the Mars Science Lab. I sat down at the communication seat so I was in charge of speaking to the people at Mission Control. We were instructed to dance the twister and report experiment findings. As well as communicating through the headset I got to find DNA using split peas, water, sand, detergent, methylated spirits and salt. In the end there was green liquid with white stringy material- (the DNA). Then we were all told to evacuate so everyone sprung into action straight away we quickly exited the lab and went through the corridors again we were so close to dying.
